Flags lowered in remembrance of U.S. Congressman Paul Gillmor

(UTULEI) – Acting Governor Ipulasi Aitofele Sunia today ordered all flags in the Territory be lowered to half-staff in respectful remembrance of U.S. Representative Paul E. Gillmor from the state of Ohio, who passed away this afternoon in Washington DC.

In a General Memorandum, Acting Governor Ipulasi ordered “all flags shall remain at half-staff in accordance with the law throughout today and tomorrow, September 6, 2006.”

Rep. Gillmor served in the U.S. Congress since 1988. He was 68.
