Governor Togiola welcomes dignitaries
on island to Flag Day 2007

 

(UTULEI) – Governor Togiola Tulafono arrived back in the Territory on Sunday night along with guests for American Samoa’s 2007 Flag Day celebration.

Governor Togiola welcomed Rear Admiral Sally Brice-O’Hara, Commander, Fourteenth Coast Guard District, and her husband, Mr. O’Hara.

Also arriving on Sunday night were Mr. Philip Wang, Director General of the Taipei and Cultural Office in Honolulu, and his wife - Mrs. Meili Yu-Chi Wang.

On Monday, dignitaries scheduled to arrive are His Royal Majesty George Tupou V, King of Tonga, the Honorable Kuresa Nasau, titular head of Tokelau, and Mrs. Ailima Nasau, and the Honorable Fiame Naomi Mata’afa, who will be representing the Prime Minister and government of Samoa.
