Rear Admiral Brice-O’Hara
pays courtesy call to Governor Togiola

 
(UTULEI) - Rear Admiral Sally Brice-O’Hara, Commander of the Fourteenth Coast Guard District paid a courtesy call on Governor Togiola Tulafono on Monday at the Office of the Governor.

Rear Admiral Brice-O’Hara arrived Sunday night with her husband as official guests for the Flag Day celebration.

In an hour-long meeting, Governor Togiola welcomed the Rear Admiral on her first visit to the Territory and expressed his gratitude for the support and presence of the U.S. Coast Guard in the Territory, as well its participation in this year’s Flag Day festivities.

After In a gift exchange, Governor Togiola presented Rear Admiral Brice-O’Hara with a carved-plate made of Samoan wood – ifilele – and an American Samoa Centennial book.

Rear Admiral Brice-O’Hara will depart the Territory on Thursday.
