MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission Statement of the Department of Parks & Recreation (DPR) is to oversee the development, maintenance and protection of recreational programs and parks in the Territory of American Samoa; to maintain an inventory of park lands; to write comprehensive plans for outdoor recreation, and to establish formal government/community entity for handling the planning and development of parks and outdoor recreation.
