Gov. Togiola released from Tripler Army Medical Center today 

 

(HONOLULU) - Governor Togiola Tulafono was discharged from Tripler Army Medical Center at 12 noon today. The Governor walked out of Tripler Hospital without assistance. He is in very good spirits and his health continues to improve and he is feeling stronger everyday.

Governor Togiola has follow up consultations and appointments scheduled with doctors at Tripler over the next week or so, before making any decisions on his return home.

The Governor and Mrs. Tulafono express their sincere gratitude to the many well-wishers who have sent cards, flowers, and especially for the prayers for the Governor’s health and speedy recovery.

The Governor is extremely grateful to the doctors and medical staff of Tripler Army Medical Center for the wonderful care.

Governor Togiola and First Lady Mary Ann Tulafono send their love, thanks and their warm regards to all of American Samoa for uniting in prayer to restore the Governor’s good health.

The Governor and Mrs. Tulafono  also want to specially thank all the soldiers who called from Iraq, Kuwait, South Korea, Europe, and across the United States to offer prayers and best wishes. God bless you all and may He keep you safe.”
