Apply to become a poll worker at the Election Office

Interested individuals wishing to serve as poll workers during the upcoming election in November can apply at the Election Office beginning June 2.

Poll workers will be working for the Election Office on Election Day.

About 300 people will be needed to work at the estimated 45 polling stations that will be set up across the territory, as well as the main Election Office.

To address past complaints and to limit any new ones, Chief Election Officer Soliai Tuipine Fuimaono will be conducting a complete screening of all applicants to ensure that poll workers are not family members or relatives of the candidates.

Also on June 2, the Election Office will begin accepting applications for candidates running for public office (Governor/Lt. Governor, delegate to Congress, and the House of Representatives) in the November 4 general election.
