Established in response to the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the American Samoa Historic Preservation Office (ASHPO) identifies, evaluates, registers, interprets and protects American Samoa's historic and cultural properties. The ASHPO provides communities and preservation organizations with a variety of services, and maintains an inventory of historic properties. It also reviews nominations to the National Register of Historic Places and oversees sites on that register.

The Veteran's Affairs Office is responsible for coordination of all matters pertaining to military Veterans in American Samoa.

State vocational rehabilitation agencies (VR) provide employment services so people with disabilities can find and keep jobs. If you’re eligible for VR, you’ll get career counseling, job training and help with your job search. Your state VR office may also be able to help provide assistive technology, personal assistance services, transportation and the tools or equipment you might need to become employed or self-employed.

The Office was established to facilitate public dialogue, build public awareness, and conduct research with a view toward achieving consensus on constitutional amendments that may be neccesary.  Also on how to strengthen the protection of Samoan lands and natural resources including marine and mineral resources; and how to maintain the integrity of the matai system and sustain the Samoan way of life into the future.

The mission of ODAPM is to assure that the Territory of American Samoa maintains an adequate and reliable supply of uniformly high quality petroleum products at reasonable and competitive prices. Assure quality, safe, reliable and cost-effective Territorial Petroleum Receipt, Storage and Distribution Facilities and Operations.

Medicaid is a publicly supported health insurance and is available in all states, the District of Columbia and the Territories. Medicaid pays for medical assistance for eligible individuals and families with low incomes and limited resources. The program is implemented by the states and overseen by the federal government through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), an agency under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Veterans Stadium is the site for many sporting events in American Samoa as well as for many official events including Flag Day festivities and other large gatherings.
