Governor Pulaali’i Celebrates Graduates at the
Kanana Fou Commencement Ceremony

The Honorable Governor Pulaali’i Nikolao Pula proudly attended the commencement ceremony for the graduating class of Kanana Fou High School on Thursday, June 5th, 2025. The ceremony, held at Kanana Fou gymnasium, gathered an esteemed audience, including Congresswoman Uifaatali Aumua Amata, church leaders, government officials, families, friends, and a devoted community of supporters.
During the ceremony, Governor Pulaali’i delivered inspiring remarks, commending the graduates for their hard work and resilience. In his speech, the Governor emphasized the importance of perseverance, leadership, and service to the community, encouraging the graduates to embrace the opportunities ahead with confidence and determination.
“This is a milestone moment for each of you. Your dedication and commitment have brought you to this day, and I have no doubt you will continue to make a positive impact on our community,” said Governor Pulaali’i. “As you step into the next chapter of your lives, remember the values instilled in you and always strive for excellence.”
A total of 32 graduates received their diplomas, celebrating the culmination of their high school journey. The ceremony also highlighted the academic accomplishments of the class’ top scholars. Hana Meafou was named Valedictorian and Jahnala Mamea was named Salutatorian.
The presence of church leaders, Congresswoman Aumua Amata and esteemed government officials further highlighted the significance of the occasion, honoring the collective support from local and national leadership for the future generation. Families and friends filled the venue with pride and joy, celebrating the graduates’ accomplishments and their bright futures ahead.
