Governor Pulaali’i Joins in Celebrating Faga’itua High School’s Class of 2025

FAGA’ITUA, AMERICAN SAMOA — It was a glorious day on the East Side as the Faga’itua High School, Home of the Vikings, held its 2025 Commencement Ceremony on June 11, 2025. Proud families, friends, educators, and community leaders gathered to witness and celebrate the academic milestone of 74 graduates.
The Honorable Governor Pulaali’i Nikolao Pula attended the ceremony on behalf of Lieutenant Governor Pulumataala Ae Ae Jr., joining Congresswoman Aumua Amata, Department of Education Director, Maefau Dr. Taufete’e, and esteemed religious leaders for this momentous occasion.
In his special remarks, Governor Pulaali’i addressed the Class of 2025 with words of encouragement and inspiration. He emphasized that while they have completed one significant chapter in their lives, a new journey is now just beginning. Reflecting on the ceremony’s theme, the Governor urged the students to “honor the journey and embrace the future.” He reminded them that they are not only graduates of Faga’itua High School but also children of faith, with the potential to become the future leaders of American Samoa.




Governor Pulaali’i extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Vikings Class of 2025 and wished them great success in all their future endeavors.
Among the graduates, academic excellence was honored with the recognition of six Co-Valedictorians: Hadrian Asofa'afetai Afeleti Origen Uili, Jasmine Sipa’u Anuilagi Alefosio, Jahderick Vila Atulu Tuiolemotu, Paulina Dorina Uso, Tafa'ilagi Temukisa Liuileafaga Toelupe, and Blessing Annamaria Lemalu. The ceremony also acknowledged the three Co-Salutatorians: PJ Isaako, Andrew Muagututi'a, and Matlyn Charissa Grey. Additionally, nine distinguished ASG Scholarship recipients were recognized for their achievements and will continue their academic pursuits at their respective institutions of higher learning.
