Governor Pulaali’i Nikolao Pula Celebrates

Iakina Adventist Academy Class of 2025

ILI’ILI, June 4, 2025 -The Honorable Governor Pulaali’i Nikolao Pula joined proud families, friends, and dignitaries in celebrating the Iakina Adventist Academy Class of 2025 at their commencement ceremony. Also in attendance was Congresswoman Aumua Amata, along with government officials and honored guests.

A total of 15 students received their diplomas, marking the successful completion of their high school journey. Governor Pulaali’i congratulated the graduates, commending them for their perseverance, dedication, and achievements throughout their years of study.

The Class Valedictorian, Hazel Ipuniuesea Leo from Masefau, and Salutatorian, Luisa Lauina from Vaitogi, were recognized for their academic excellence and leadership.

 

In his remarks, Governor Pulaali’i encouraged the graduates to stay true to themselves, to honor their roots, and to remember they are sons and daughters of American Samoa carrying the values and identity of their home wherever they go.

 

The Class of 2025 will now continue their academic pursuits, having been accepted into institutions both on island and across the mainland United States.

 

Congratulations to the Iakina Adventist Academy Class of 2025, your journey is just beginning, and American Samoa stands proudly behind you.
