Home of the Mighty Sharks Celebrates the Class of 2025
Pago Pago, American Samoa – It was a proud and joyous day for the Samoana High School community as families, friends, and supporters filled the campus to witness 191 students of the Class of 2025 receive their diplomas on June 12, 2025. Samoana High School “Home of the Sharks” celebrated this significant milestone in the presence of distinguished guests including the Honorable Governor Pulaali’i Nikolao Pula, Congresswoman Aumua Amata, respected religious leaders, government officials, and honored delegates.

During the commencement ceremony, Governor Pulaali’i delivered heartfelt remarks congratulating the graduates for their perseverance, dedication, and hard work throughout their academic journey. He praised the Class of 2025 for pushing through challenges and setting an inspiring example for future students.
Reflecting on the theme of this year’s graduation, "Su‘esu‘e ma Tautua Fa‘amaoni" – "Be Inquisitive and Serve with Integrity" – the Governor encouraged the graduates to remain curious, continue seeking knowledge, and serve their communities with honesty and humility. “You hold the key to navigating the ever-changing world around us,” he said, “and in everything you do, always remember to put God first and cherish the unwavering support of your families and friends.”
Among the 191 proud graduates, Samoana High School recognized four outstanding Co-Valedictorians, all hailing from the village of Pago Pago: Ulutaumamao Ulumanu‘a Fuimaono, Ghaydah Amazing Grace Mageo-Salave‘a, Joreignna Kim Sovea, and Tali‘ilagi Tauva Vili. The Salutatorian honor was awarded to Jahzara Roberta Fa‘alogo. In addition, eight ASG scholarship recipients were also recognized and will further their education in their respective institutions.
The Government of American Samoa extends its warmest congratulations to the Samoana High School Class of 2025. May your next chapter be filled with purpose, faith, and continued success.
