Manumalo Academy Honors the Graduates of 2025

On Friday, May 30th, Manumalo Academy held its commencement ceremony in celebration of the Class of 2025. The event honored 20 graduating students for their academic accomplishments and the successful completion of their high school education.

The ceremony was attended by the Honorable Governor Pulaali’i Nikolao Pula, on behalf of the Honorable Lieutenant Governor and the American Samoa Government. Also present were Congresswoman Uifa’atali Aumua Amata, Fono members and cabinet officials
A highlight in the program was the acknowledgement of the class’ top scholars. Katelynne Hailey De Lara was named Valedictorian. She delivered an inspiring speech reflecting on the journey of the 2025 graduating class and the hopes of what their future holds. The graduating Class of 2025 also proudly recognized two Salutatorians, Chang Yu Tang and Aisali Taufete’e Vasai.
All 20 graduates received scholarships and will continue their educational pursuits at various respected institutions of higher learning.
Families, friends, and members of the community gathered in support, marking not only the conclusion of one chapter and the beginning of another in the lives of these young scholars.
Special recognition is extended to the Principal and dedicated staff of Manumalo Academy for their resolute commitment in providing education excellence to our children.
