Pacific Horizons School Celebrates the Class of 2025

On Saturday, May 24th, Pacific Horizons School-Home of the Navigators held its graduation ceremony in honor of the Class of 2025. A total of 18 students were celebratedfor their academic achievements and successful completion of their high school journey.


The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Honorable Governor Pulaali’i Nikolao Pula and First Lady Lois Phillips-Pula, who attended on behalf of the Honorable Lieutenant Governor and the American Samoa Government. Distinguished guests also
included the founder of PHS Dr. Mara Ashley and Congresswoman Aumua Amata.


The ceremony highlighted the academic accomplishments of the class’ top scholars. Amelie Chen was named Valedictorian, delivered a moving address that reflected on the graduates shared experiences and the promises of the future. The graduating Class of 2025 also proudly recognized two Salutatorians, Danju Dizon and Thomas Jones.


All eighteen graduates were awarded ASG scholarships and will be advancing to institutions of higher education, with one scholar continuing their studies at the community college.


Proud families, friends, and members of the community gathered to commemorate this significant milestone, which marks not only the conclusion of the students’ high school careers, but also the beginning of their paths towards higher education.


Special thanks to the Principal, Board Members, management, and dedicated staff of Pacific Horizons School for their commitment to nurturing and educating the students.
