asg officials meet with starkist SAMOA management
An American Samoa Government group, led by Governor Lemanu P. S. Mauga, is pictured here with officials of Starkist Samoa, led by Plant Director Jason Kim (fifth from far right) following a meeting at the Starkist plant on Thursday, May 27, 2021. It was during the meeting that Mr. Kim, on behalf of CEO Andrew Choe and StarKist company, presented to Governor Lemanu a monetary donation of $8,000 and 200 tuna cases to help ASG and the COVID Task Force in its efforts to bring our stranded families and friends home. The donation was a result of a $1 drive by employees and contribution from Starkist Corporate.
